It is commonly used as an emulsifier, dispersant, solubilizer, defoamer and wetting agent in multiple industries. It is widely applied in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, papermaking and cleaning supplies, including drug delivery systems, contact lens solutions and laxatives. Its solubility, foaming property and wetting performance can be adjusted by modifying the ratio of PEO to PPO.
