Moreover, it acts as a seed material for the growth of zinc oxide nanorods on polyethylene terephthalate microfibers. It is also used in wood preservation, the production of other zinc salts, ethyl acetate manufacturing, and serves as an analytical reagent in various industries. In the nuclear power industry, it functions as a plating inhibitor.
