Sodium Hexametaphosphate, also known as Graham’s salt or vitreous sodium metaphosphate, is a polymeric sodium metaphosphate. It occurs as colorless transparent glassy solid or white powder. It is highly soluble in water with a relatively slow dissolution rate, and its aqueous solution is acidic. Featuring a special polymeric structure and solubility property, it is widely used in water treatment, food processing, detergents and other industrial fields.
