Product Description of Didodecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride CAS#3401-74-9
Didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (DDAC) is available as an 80% solution in the form of a colorless to pale yellow liquid, while the 99% grade appears as an off-white paste. It is readily soluble in polar solvents and only slightly soluble in water. The product exhibits excellent antistatic, anticorrosive, dispersing, emulsifying, and foaming properties. It is compatible with cationic, nonionic, and amphoteric surfactants, and can adsorb onto negatively charged surfaces, improving fiber softness, bulkiness, and hydrophobicity.
Product Application of Didodecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride CAS#3401-74-9
Didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride exhibits excellent antistatic and anticorrosive properties, along with strong dispersing, emulsifying, and foaming capabilities. It can be used as an additive in the manufacture of napkins and toilet paper, and is also applied as an asphalt emulsifier, mineral flotation agent, bactericide and disinfectant, emulsifier, and additive for tertiary oil recovery.
